St. Claire HealthCare Reopens Morehead-North Clinic

St. Claire HealthCare has announced the Morehead – North primary care clinic has now fully reopened with a new team of healthcare providers led by Laith J. Sweis, MD, and Mary Caric, APRN.

Dr. Sweis, a board certified physician in both internal medicine and pediatrics, joined the SCH medical staff in 2019 and Caric has been caring for patients as part of St. Claire’s primary care team since 2010.

“The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has transformed healthcare systems across the United States and St. Claire HealthCare is no exception,” said Donald H. Lloyd, II, SCH President/CEO. “The pandemic forced us to make some very difficult decisions including the temporary closure of our Morehead – North location, but I’m happy to announce the clinic has now fully reopened with new services and expanded access.”

SCH’s Morehead – North location now offers same day or next day appointments, Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Both virtual and in-person appointments are available.

St. Claire is making it even easier to get an appointment by introducing self-scheduling for basic primary care appointments through the MyHealth patient portal. If you don’t have a portal account yet, simply complete the enrollment request at www.st-claire.org/enroll, then check your email for further instructions. Other features of the patient portal include the ability to view lab results and reports, view your visit history, request prescription refills, message your healthcare team, and more!
