St. Claire Pediatrics Spreads Excitement for Back-To-School with Community Event

Giggles and laughs could be heard coming from the parking lot of St. Claire Pediatrics Friday evening. Children from all over the region were invited to kick off the back-to-school season with the St. Claire Pediatrics team!

“I think we were just as excited about this event as the kids,” said Bookie Ginter, DNP, SCH Director/Clinical Nurse Educator-Primary Care, as she bounced in the oversized “schoolhouse” inflatable obstacle course. “Not only was it a fun event for the whole family, but it also allowed us to welcome new and old faces and get to just spend time with everyone and discuss more than coughs, sneezes, and sniffles.”

Each guest was given a special “back-to-school” t-shirt and the opportunity to win one of six backpacks filled with school supplies. The children were invited to play games to win additional prizes and race through the obstacle course while parents, family, and friends met the St. Claire Pediatrics team and toured the facility.

“We are hopeful that this event will become a back-to-school tradition for our community and will continue to grow each year,” said Ginter. “We love taking care of your kids and fun opportunities like this make our jobs just that much better!”
