UK St. Claire (SCH) is proud to welcome two new clinic managers to the St. Claire Medical Pavilion. The Pavilion houses several specialty clinics to serve the people of Eastern Kentucky.
Stacey Humphries is taking on the role of clinic manager of the Cardiology, General Surgery, and Interventional Pain Management Clinics. Brittany Riddell is the new clinic manager for the Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Podiatry, Pulmonology, and Wound Care clinics.
In their new roles, they lead staff to accomplish the missions, goals, and strategic plans of each department and SCH as a whole. They provide daily operational leadership and are responsible for strategic planning, budget development, productivity, and quality improvement. As clinic managers, they promote teamwork, staff development, while staying current and complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements, all while serving the people of Eastern Kentucky.
“I love working for St. Claire because we all share the same vision and are dedicated to serving our patients,” said Humphries. “Our doctors, nurses, and support staff are compassionate and work together as a team to ensure that the St. Claire mission is attained organization-wide.”
Humphries is from Fleming County, Kentucky. She received her LPN in 2004 and has been with SCH since 2018 when she started working in General Surgery. She is currently enrolled in courses to further her education and earn her RN. She is also attending additional classes on mastectomy fitting to be able to better serve SCH’s breast cancer patients.
Riddell started with St. Claire eight years ago as a radiation technician. She is originally from Michigan but moved to Kentucky in high school. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree in imaging sciences from Morehead State University.
“What I love about working at St. Claire is we have the small-town hospital feel but we provide big opportunities in a patient’s medical care. Having a family atmosphere and compassionate staff makes me proud to be a member of this team,” said Riddell. “The compassion and family values start with our CEO and trickle all the way down.”
