St. Claire HealthCare Foundation Celebrates Highest Fundraising Year on Record

Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of donors, the St. Claire HealthCare Foundation has just completed the largest fundraising year on record. Gifts from loyal supporters have provided the largest number of dollars ever given during a fiscal year. Charitable contributions received in the 2022-2023 period raised the total value of the SCH Foundation to $6 million.

“Our supporters are changing the lives of our patients and our region every single day,” said Donald H. Lloyd, II, SCH President/CEO. “Every dollar is used to support our mission of proclaiming God’s goodness through a healing ministry to the people of Eastern Kentucky.”

Major projects supported by the SCH Foundation during the past fiscal year included oncology research equipment, hospice patient support, student scholarships, and food insecurity assistance.

“We are very grateful that donors have chosen to support St. Claire,” said Mindy Highley, Executive Director of Community Engagement and Philanthropy. “The work done with donated dollars will address so many basic and emergency needs for our patients and many of these needs would go unmet without this valuable support.”
