St. Claire HealthCare Foundation Receives $10,000 from Johnson Church for Basic & Emergency Needs Fund

In the spirit of Christmas, Johnson First Church of God has generously contributed $10,000 to support St. Claire HealthCare Foundation’s Basic and Emergency Needs Fund. This contribution will be used to provide patients and community members with food, clothing, medication, transportation, and other basic essentials.

“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of Johnson Church. This gift will make a tremendous difference in many lives,” said Mindy Highley, SCH Executive Director, Community Engagement & Philanthropy.

St. Claire HealthCare strives to provide quality health and wellness to all individuals in eastern Kentucky. As part of that commitment, the Basic and Emergency Needs Fund assists patients who are in immediate challenging situations.

“Our congregation has a heart for supporting those among us who are in need. This contribution is a perfect way to reach many of our local residents with very real hardships,” said Rev. Ben Furman, Pastor of Johnson Church.
