St. Claire HealthCare Foundation Announces St. Claire Auxiliary Scholarship Recipients

The St. Claire HealthCare Foundation is excited to announce the 2023 recipients of the St. Claire Auxiliary Scholarship.

The St. Claire Auxiliary Scholarship is a $1,000 award presented to a full-time college freshman in an accredited medically-related program with an interest in medicine and a heart for community service. Funding for this scholarship comes from various volunteer projects and proceeds from the St. Claire Gift Shop.

The 2023 recipients of the St. Claire Auxiliary Scholarship are:

  • Braden Hammonds - Hammonds, a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, will be attending Morehead State University and majoring in biomedical sciences.
  • Mikayla Kielman – A graduate of Lewis County High School, Kielman will be attending Eastern Kentucky University and majoring in pre-optometry.
  • Ashton Lilley – Lilley, a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, will be attending Berea College and majoring in nursing.
  • Emily Mays – A graduate of Lakeside Christian Academy, Mays will be attending Morehead State University and majoring in biomedical sciences/chemistry.
  • Destiney Tackett – Tackett, a graduate of East Carter High School, Tackett will be attending Morehead State University majoring in nursing.
