St. Claire HealthCare Welcomes Anna Harp, PA-C

St. Claire HealthCare is excited to welcome Anna Harp, PA-C, to its gastroenterology team.

“While I was in my rotations, I felt a call to serve the people of Eastern Kentucky,” said Harp. “Being from Southeastern Kentucky myself, I felt drawn to St. Claire. I love providing patient care and the patients in this area are so special to me.”

A native of London, Kentucky, Harp earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Cumberlands in 2020 as well as a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2023.

While she always knew she wanted to work in the medical field, it wasn’t until she completed a rotation in gastroenterology that she had a special interest in the specialty and found her passion for promoting preventative screenings for colon cancer.

“I’m most excited about getting patients the screenings they need,” she said. “With routine screenings, colon cancer can be prevented or detected early when treatments are most effective.”

Harp joins Thadis Cox, MD, and Anna Campbell, APRN, at St. Claire HealthCare Gastroenterology, located in the St. Claire Medical Pavilion at 245 Flemingsburg Rd., in Morehead.
