The Citizens Bank Celebrates UK St. Claire’s 60th Anniversary

In recognition of UK St. Claire’s (SCH) 60th anniversary of proclaiming God’s goodness through a healing ministry to the people of Eastern Kentucky, The Citizens Bank has made a $60,000 charitable commitment. This generous contribution will be used in support of high-priority clinical and educational endeavors throughout SCH’s 60^th-anniversary celebration.

“The Citizens Bank is honored to support the mission of UK St. Claire and all of the good work that is done there by so many,” said Bob Neff, The Citizens Bank President.

With this partnership, two new academic scholarships, the Alpha M. Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship, and The Citizens Bank HealthCare Scholarship, will be presented to students seeking a degree in the medical field. Each award is valued at $10,000 and comes with an offer of employment from UK St. Claire upon the completion of their degree.

“Our community has been blessed by the presence of St. Claire for 60 years,” said Susan Neff, The Citizens Bank Chair of the Board. “The addition of this hospital has changed the lives of not only people in our town but all across our region.”
