McKaylyn Mays, MSPAS, PA-C, Joins St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care Center Team

St. Claire HealthCare is excited to welcome McKaylyn Mays, MSPAS, PA-C, to the team at St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care.

A native of Lee County, KY, Mays has always had a passion for helping others and knew she wanted to work in the medical field, taking care of those who are sick. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science/Pre-PA from Morehead State University. Mays furthered her education by obtaining her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2021.

“Healthcare is like a puzzle and you have to put the pieces together to get a diagnosis for the patient,” said Mays. “I enjoy that daily challenge and seeing the pieces come together to help the patient get better.”

Care for minor injuries and sudden illnesses is available at St. Claire HealthCare’s Urgent Care locations at 431 Hampton Way and 1028 E. Main Street in Morehead. Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Walk-ins are always welcome. Appointments aren’t needed, but if you call 606.783.6400, a spot will be reserved at your preferred St. Claire HealthCare location.
