St. Claire HealthCare Expands Neurology Practice with the Addition of Daniel Lee, MD, and Megan Craft, PA-C to Its Medical Staff

St. Claire HealthCare is proud to welcome Daniel Lee, MD, FAAN, FAASM, and Megan Craft, PA-C, to its growing neurology practice.

Daniel Lee, MD, is a highly regarded neurologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. He brings more than 30 years of experience to SCH, most recently as the Medical Director for UK's Kentucky Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Lee also currently serves as President of the Kentucky Sleep Society, Vice President of the Kentucky Commonwealth Neurologic Society, and Professor of Neurology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

“I am so happy to be returning back to Eastern Kentucky, the place my wife calls home and I am so honored to be a part of the St. Claire family serving our local communities,” Dr. Lee said.

Dr. Lee specializes in managing long-standing neurological conditions including sleep disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic headaches. He also provides care for patients with memory issues, various movement disorders, muscle and nerve issues, as well as, managing acute stroke and after-stroke care.

Additionally, Dr. Lee’s holistic approach to neurologic disease management includes Botox injections, occipital nerve block, and trigger point injections for patients suffering from chronic headaches, myofascial pain, or spasticity. He also performs EEG, home sleep testing, and epidermal nerve biopsies for early diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.

After graduating with distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Dr. Lee received his neurology training at Washington University Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was the recipient of the prestigious Irwin Levy Award while at Washington University. Additionally, Dr. Lee completed his fellowship training at The Stanford University School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, CA.

Dr. Lee authored the publication on the first treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). He served on the National Scientific Advisory Board of RLS research; has conducted extensive research and has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals. He has been invited to lecture across the globe including Paris, France, Hong Kong, and Beijing, China.

Megan Craft, PA-C, will be joining Dr. Lee in St. Claire HealthCare’s neurology practice.

Craft earned both her Bachelor of Science in Spanish and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. She completed an academic residency in neurology and has worked alongside Dr. Lee at the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute since 2021.

Both Dr. Lee and Craft will begin welcoming new and established patients seeking neurologic consultation on Monday, October 2. Their office will be located on the 2nd floor of the St. Claire Medical Pavilion, conveniently located at 245 Flemingsburg Rd., in Morehead.
