During the Christmas season, Better Life Church generously donated $15,000 to the UK St. Claire Charity Care Fund. This donation will be used to cover medical expenses for local St. Claire patients who have struggled to pay outstanding healthcare bills.
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of Better Life Church and the positive impact this donation will have on many families in Rowan County,” said Mindy Highley, SCH Executive Director, Community Engagement and Philanthropy. “Last month, hundreds of individuals received an unexpected Christmas card that announced a gift from the church was covering an outstanding bill.”
Many people throughout St. Claire’s service region are in desperate need of healthcare, yet don’t have the means to pay for it. The St. Claire Charity Care Fund helps to provide quality healthcare to low-income families within our region, no matter their needs and what they may or may not be able to afford.
“The Better Life Church family feels privileged to be able to assist so many individuals in our county again this year. We are blessed that St. Claire is a part of this community and thankful we have the ability to support the Charity Care Fund,” said Lead Pastor Daniel Lucas.
