Treatment Options
Our team, which includes board certified orthopedic physicians, offers patient-specific treatment options including both surgical and nonsurgical treatments to get patients back to their daily activities in comfort. After patients are evaluated and their condition diagnosed, the team will explain the treatment options that will best meet your individualized goals for recovery. Your doctor may recommend one or a combination of the following options:
- Nonsurgical Treatment (physical therapy, steroid injections, etc.)
- Minimally invasive surgical procedures
- Total joint replacement
Physical Therapy
Depending on your condition, your doctor may also recommend physical therapy to help restore your mobility and improve your range of motion. You may also find physical therapy can help to reduce pain or symptoms. Physical therapy may also be required to help you prepare for, or rehabilitate after, a surgical procedure.
Home Medical Equipment
If you’re having difficulty with mobility or stability, you may benefit from the use of support braces or mobility aids such as crutches, a cane, knee scooter, etc. These items and many others are available at St. Claire Family Medical Supply, located at 707 East Main Street in Morehead, and may be covered by your insurance.
