UK St. Claire Foundation Awards over $100,000 in Scholarships

The UK St. Claire Foundation is pleased to announce that over $100,000 has been awarded in scholarships. This funding will provide 40 area students with financial support during the 2024-25 academic year as they continue their educational careers.

“The St. Claire Foundation is honored to provide these very deserving students with scholarships. At UK St. Claire, education is a high priority, and this year we are delighted to present an unprecedented amount of awards,” said Mindy Highley, Executive Director Community Engagement & Philanthropy. “None of this would be possible without our generous donors and corporate partners who help us support our region.”

The 2024 scholarship recipients are:

  • Jeffrey Barnett, a graduate of Wolfe County High School, attending Alice Lloyd College and majoring in business.
  • Laney Bledsoe, a graduate of Magoffin County High School, attending Eastern Kentucky University and majoring in clinical mental health counseling.
  • Addison Bond, a graduate of East Carter High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in biomedical sciences.
  • Lisa Brempomaa Abrampah, a rising senior at Morehead State University’s Craft Academy, attending a hands-on health program this summer.
  • Amber Brewer, a native of Salt Lick, KY, attends Collins Career and Technical Center and studies nursing.
  • Lillian Burton, a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in nursing.
  • Kerrigan Campbell, a resident of Morehead, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in radiology.
  • Michael Campbell, a graduate of Elliott County High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in pre-medicine.
  • Matthew Carpenter, a native of Olive Hill, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in pre-physical therapy.
  • Jade Carroll, a graduate of Wolfe County High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in nursing.
  • Alicia Clark, a native of Olive Hill, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in nursing.
  • Bella Clatos, a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in pre-dentistry.
  • Joelle Craft, a native of Olive Hill, KY, attends Morehead State University and is studying to become a nurse practitioner.
  • Gracey Cropper, a native of Flemingsburg, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in nursing.
  • Cody Dagnan, a graduate of Morgan County High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in nursing.
  • Courtney Dunn, a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, attending Maysville Community & Technical College to major in medical health sciences.
  • Isabella Dunn, a graduate of Magoffin County High School, attending the University of Kentucky and majoring in public health.
  • Hannah Florence, a graduate of Fleming County High School, attending Eastern Kentucky University and majoring in biomedical sciences.
  • Chancten Fox, a native of Olive Hill, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in nursing.
  • Kailey Hamilton, a graduate of Elliott County High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in biomedical sciences.
  • Anna Heineman, a native of Ashland, KY, attending Marshall University and studying healthcare administration.
  • Aubrey Hicks, a graduate of Lewis County High School, attending Eastern Kentucky University and majoring in nursing.
  • Abigail Ishmael, a native of Hillsboro, KY, attends Eastern Kentucky University and majors in Psychology.
  • Caden Lewis, a graduate of Elliott County High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in Business.
  • Macy Lewis, a resident of Vanceburg, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in nursing.

  • Aime Madelen Ensenat-Pena, a rising senior at Morehead State University’s Craft Academy, attending a hands-on health program this summer.
  • Jodi Perkins, a resident of Morehead, KY, attends Morehead State University and majors in nursing.
  • Lilly Porter, a graduate of East Carter High School, attending Morehead State University and majoring in biomedical sciences.

  • John Self, a resident of Morehead, KY, attends Kentucky Community & Technical College and studying to become a certified medical assistant.
